The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is looking for people to join the Community Working Groups for Chesley and Tara.
These working groups provide a platform for business and community stakeholders as well as local staff to address economic development.
This will be done through information sharing, developing ideas, raising issues and concerns, as well as recommend solutions to support economic development and revitalization.
Mayor Steve Hammell says they are inviting business owners, service groups and community members to the groups to enhance the local towns and villages.
“Chesley and Tara have been waiting for this opportunity, and these working groups, together with the new Arran-Elderslie Community and Business Association will continue growth and renewal,” says Hammell.
Those interested in joining can learn more on the municipal website here.
Applications will be accepted until Aug. 30 and can be submitted in person or emailed to cfraser@arran-elderslie.ca.
