Hanover police say they responded to a break and enter in progress on Sunday.
They say it was in the 900 block of 10th Street at a commercial property.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old Alberta man of no fixed address at the scene. They say he was found in possession of tools that were reported stolen from a construction truck.
The suspect faces charges of a break-and-enter and possession of stolen property.
