Grey Bruce OPP say a Hanover man is facing multiple charges following what they call a serious assault in Brockton.
Police say on July 8, officers responded to a report of an assault that reportedly occurred on July 7 at a property on Bruce Road 4.
OPP says it was found the suspect had assaulted the victim with an edged weapon, resulting in the victim sustaining minor injuries.
As a result, the 24-year-old accused was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused appeared in court in Walkerton on Tuesday.
