The Desboro Royals fought off a late rally to edge The Tara Ladies 8-7. The bats were hot on both teams, with the Royals Amanda Lougheed belting a triple and 2 singles, Maddy Moore and Patti Scarrow tripled and singled, and Diane Elmore added a 3-RBI home run.
Kollby Kruger, Elmore and Moore shared the pitching circle.
For Tara, Lexy Mahon, Christie Goudy and LeeAnne Cochrane split pitching duties. Cyndi Rands tripled and had a pair of singles, Mahon and Chantel Maisonneuve had 3 singles.
