
Hanover Police say a man is facing charges following a foot chase.
Police say on June 23 at 7:15 p.m., officers attended a residence on 12th Street when they saw a male suspect known to them.
The officers tried to arrest the man, but he fled on foot towards a backyard.
Police say after a brief foot chase, the suspect was arrested.
During a search, police say he was found in possession of methamphetamine with a street value of over $1,000.
The 31-year-old of no fixed address was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of breaching probation, and possession of methamphetamine.
He was later released from custody and is set to appear in court in Walkerton.
