South Bruce OPP say a man is facing charges following a child luring and child pornography investigation in Huron-Kinloss Township.
Police say the investigation began after receiving a report of a man who used a social media site to request a sexually explicit photo of a teenaged girl.
The 29-year-old accused from Peterborough was arrested today and is charged with three counts of adult luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunications, and possession of child pornography.
The accused was taken into custody where they appeared in court, but due to a court-ordered publication ban, their name is being withheld.
“South Bruce OPP is reminding the public to communicate with youth about the danger of online communication with unknown individuals,” says police.
