In order to beat the heat, Hanover is announcing two cooling centres that will be available.
Hanover Public Library and Civic Centre hours are:
Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Hanover P & H Centre hours are:
(until June 30)
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 6:00am – 9:00pm
Tuesday & Thursday 6:00am – 9:30pm
Saturday 7:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
* Facility hours are subject to change in accordance with facility bookings.
It’s recommended that in sweltering temperatures like what’s forecasted you stay hydrated by drinking enough water.
You are also advised to check in on elderly neighbours, and pets should not be left unattended in vehicles for any length of time.
