Owen Sound Police say an 18-year-old Meaford man is facing charges following a bank robbery.
Police say on May 31 around 4:30 p.m., a man entered a bank in Owen Sound and passed a note to a teller demanding money, “or else.”
The man was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.
The robbery was reported to police and officers flooded the area and began a search for the suspect.
Police say the man was located a short time later and was arrested without incident.
As a result, police say the accused is facing robbery and possession of stolen property charges.
