Grey Bruce OPP say a driver from Brampton was ticketed for speeding twice in just 18 minutes over the Victoria Day long weekend.
The OPP say officers were conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 6 in South Bruce Peninsula Sunday afternoon, when they spotted a vehicle heading north quickly. Police allege the car was driving 129 kilometres an hour in an 80 km/hr zone.
The 31-year-old driver from Brampton was pulled over and given a speeding ticket.
Then eighteen minutes later, the same driver was clocked going 115 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone in Northern Bruce Peninsula by another OPP officer. That resulted in another ticket.
“The Grey Bruce OPP is asking all drivers to report dangerous driving behaviour by calling 911 and providing as much detail as possible of the driving complaint including make, model and licence plate of the vehicle, description of the driver and direction of travel,” the OPP say in a statement.
