West Grey police have charged a man after a reported assault.
They say just after midnight last Friday (May10), they received a 911 call alleging an assault had taken place in the area of Grey Rd 10 and the suspect fled in a truck.
Police say, while speaking with the assault victim, another 911 call was received about a truck driving through a gate and into another truck at a residence north of Durham.
Officers responded and located the suspect at the back of the property.
A 32 year old West Grey man was arrested and charged with assault, dangerous driving, mischief and failing to comply with the conditions of a release order. He was held in custody and has since been released.
