South Bruce OPP say a person from Saugeen First Nation is facing a number of charges after a jewelry store was robbed.
Police say on May 11 at 5:52 a.m., officers received a report of a robbery at a store in Kincardine.
When officers arrived, they found the business owner had been injured and the involved person was arrested at the scene.
All the items were recovered and the victim was transported to a local hospital and released with minor injuries.
As a result, the 46-year-old accused is facing breaking and entering, two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, robbery with theft, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused remains in custody pending a show cause hearing.
