Hanover Police Chief Chris Knoll says, “To those who steal credit cards and use them, every tap is a charge.”
The warning comes as police say they have completed an investigation into the theft of credit cards which they say were used in several communities.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old woman and a 42-year-old woman, both from Hanover and charged them with theft, possession of stolen property and eight counts of use of stolen credit cards.
Knoll says the suspects were processed and later released from custody with court dates in Walkerton.
