The Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation (GSCF) is returning to the Roxy Theatre next month for its 7th annual Earth Film Festival.
The festival is set for May 16 and the foundation will be showing two films.
The first is The Water Walker, which shows the journey of Autumn Peltier and the critical importance of water security. The other film is Becoming Tom Thomson, which will transport the audience back to explore the life and legacy of the renowned painter.
Schools are invited to catch the films for matinee presentations at 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. before an evening presentation at 7 p.m. with various displays and door prizes after the films.
Additionally, the foundation says there will be a panel discussion with local youth, a dinner fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and an online silent auction. The auction will be live from May 9 to the 23 and will feature local hand-crafted products, services and experiences.
Tickets are now available and for more details on the silent auction, visit the Charity Auctions Today website here, and more details on the films can be found on the Roxy website here.
