Grey Bruce OPP say a teen from Toronto is facing a slew of charges following a foot chase in Southgate.
Police say on March 29, officers responded to a report of someone trying to break into a vehicle on Ridley Crescent.
Police found a masked person nearby who fled from the attended officers, but was arrested after a brief foot chase.
As a result, police say a 15-year-old from Toronto has been charged with mischief, resisting a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized possession of a weapon, failing to comply with a sentence, failing to comply with a release order, and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused, who can’t be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was held pending a bail hearing.
