A big win for the Owen Sound Attack.
Colby Barlow scored a hat trick and Servac Petrovsky added a pair of goals as the Attack topped the Sudbury Wolves 6-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Cedrick Guindon also had a goal for the Attack (29-29-5-3), which moved past the idle Flint Firebirds (30-30-4-1) for seventh in the OHL’s Western Conference.
Quentin Musty scored twice for Sudbury (36-22-4-3). Kocha Delic and Alex Pharand also had goals.
Carter George made 27 saves in the win, while Nate Krawchuk stopped 20 taking the loss. Jakub Vondras made seven saves after entering the game early in the third period.
The Attack outshot Sudbury 33-31 while going 1 for 4 on the power play; the Wolves finished 0 for 2.
Owen Sound will finish the season with a home-and-home against the Guelph Storm (30-27-6-1). The first game is at the Sleeman Centre Thursday evening. You can hear the game live on Kia of Owen Sound-Terry’s Trailer Service Bear Radio.
The Attack are just one point back of fifth-place Guelph, but the Storm hold two games in hand.
