The deadline is approaching to nominate a community member for the annual Saugeen Shores Heritage Conservation Award.
The Town is looking to recognize someone in Saugeen Shores who has helped conserve an older building or environmental heritage site, or someone who actively promotes local cultural heritage.
All nominations must be received by March 31, 2023.
Past award winners include The Walker House, Jane Kramer, Bill Streeter, Duncan McCallum, Joyce Johnston, Jeanette Steeves, Ken Cassavoy, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, the Saugeen Rail Trail Committee, Walter Mackowski, Jack and Marion McDermid, Matt and Tim Weichel, the Dunblane Church Committee, Brian Cleaver and the Southampton Art School Restoration Committee, Audrey Underwood, Jack Shilling, and Grosvenors Restaurant.
