A 44 year old from Montreal has been charged with careless driving after a single-vehicle collision closed part of Highway 6 in Shallow Lake Wednesday.
OPP say the highway was closed between Sideroads 15 and 10 for several hours Wednesday afternoon after a transport truck hit a hydro pole.
The truck came to rest across the road, taking up both lanes of traffic. No injuries were reported.
The highway has since reopened.
