County Council has approved the tender for Phase 2 of the Wingham Patrol Yard construction.
This phase includes the construction of the Operations Building that will occupy part of the patrol yard.
The contract has been awarded to Elgin Contracting & Restoration Ltd for $6,275,540. The price tag is based on the scope of the work that will take place during this phase.
This phase will also include replacing the existing 6-bay vehicle storage garage.
Phase 1 of the patrol yard, which began last year, is almost complete. Final reports for Phase 1 will be presented to council at future meetings with progress updates on Phase 2.
