The Province’s Special Investigations Unit has closed the file on a Collingwood man’s injury during an OPP interaction.
Officers were called by a 911 caller reporting a domestic disturbance on Oct. 15th.
At some point a 38-year-old man at the residence in question went to the second floor, opened a window, climbed out on a sloped roof, and slid, falling to the ground, and fracturing his left ankle.
The SIU says there are no reasonable grounds to believe an officer committed a criminal offence in connection with the man’s injury.
