Huronia West OPP has charged an Innisfil man with weapons charges following an investigation in Wasaga Beach.
In November, the Huronia West Community Street Crime Unit started its investigation after becoming aware of a person believed to be trafficking drugs into the area.
The 20-year-old is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with ammo, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Police seized a Glock 43 9mm handgun and $23,000 in Canadian currency.
