A dozen charges have been laid, following a suspicious person complaint in Seaforth.
Huron OPP say they were called about a suspicious person in a minivan on Goderich Street West, and believed the male was operating the vehicle impaired.
Reports say the accused resisted arrest, and police later located suspected controlled substances and a knife.
A 35 year old man from South Huron has been charged with:
- Impaired Operation – Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation while Prohibited
- Resist Peace Officer
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition for Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order – (four counts)
- Fail to Comply with Release Order – (two counts)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for 45 days.
