A multi-day snow squall warning is in effect for the region.
Environment Canada says that we can expect 15-40cm of snow by Monday evening, with peak snowfall rates of more than 5cm per hour.
Heavy snow could lead to poor visibility at times.
Gusting winds are also expected to cause poor visibility with blowing snow.
The weather agency says that lake effect squalls may last into Tuesday.
