A wintery blast of weather is causing some issues on the roads this morning, but overall local routes are seeing bare and wet conditions, with some snow cover.
The 400 to Barrie is currently listed as fair conditions, but Highway 12 is deemed poor conditions this morning. There are also poor conditions as you head toward Highway 22.
Environment Canada is calling for a mix of rain and snow today with wind gusts of up to 70 km/h.
The temperature is also expected to drop this afternoon and into the overnight, with flurries and snow squalls expected, and a total of 5-10 cm of snowfall in the forecast.
