Provincial Police have charged three people after executing a search warrant in Southgate.
Grey Bruce OPP say someone contacted them on Dec. 27 after noticing their stolen John Deere payloader at a property on Southgate Road 14.
OPP officers attended the property and executed a search warrant.
“During the search police seized stolen property, a stolen John Deere Payloader, a Kubota riding lawn mower and deck,” the OPP say in a release. “The approximate cost of stolen property is $40,000.”
Three men from Southgate — two of them 59-years-old, and one of them 42-years-old — were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
All three accused are due to appear in court later this month.
