Provincial police in Orillia say three suspects in a theft investigation have decent arts and crafts skills, but they’re not good enough to avoid detection.
Officers were called to a business on Monarch Drive where three people were filling a shopping cart with electronics.
As police arrived the trio left their cart and attempted to take off.
Police noticed their vehicle had cardboard license plates, with the numbers on the fake plates corresponding to those registered to the same make, model and color of vehicle.
The suspects from Barrie and Brampton face numerous charges.
Paper Plates Seized by Orillia OPP.
