A respiratory outbreak has been declared in the Inpatient Unit at the Seaforth Community Hospital.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) says the outbreak refers to two cases of acute respiratory infection within 48 hours within the same unit.
The unit is now closed to admissions until further notice, and the HPHA says they are working with Huron Perth Public Health to manage the outbreak.
Patients may only have one family caregiver/visitor per day with no in-and-out privileges.
Family/caregivers will be required to wear personal protective equipment including mask, eye protection, gown and gloves.
