Starter Company Plus 2023 Fall recipients (From: County of Huron)
Eight new companies have been approved for micro-funding from the County of Huron.
The “Starter Company Plus” program provides business training, mentoring, and grant opportunities of up to $5 thousand for eligible participants to start, expand, or buy a small business.
This year’s recipients include:
- Capella Meadows – Edda Boettcher, Brussels (Huron East)
- Decisolve – Justin Brunner, Brucefield (Bluewater)
- Elevations by Lindsay – Lindsay Skinn, Goderich (Goderich)
- Gifts to Britain – Jess Bickell, Exeter (South Huron)
- Great Lakes Property Management – MacDonald Laplante, Goderich (ACW)
- Mister Pristine – Mark Scrimgeour, Londesborough (Central Huron)
- Old Railway Popcorn Company – Joleen Krebs, Clinton (Central Huron)
- Suncoast Canvas – Craig Wark, Goderich (ACW)
Enrollment for participation in the next intake of the Starter Company Plus program will open in July 2024.
