The Owen Sound Attack fell 3-2 to the Guelph Storm in Ontario Hockey League action Wednesday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Braeden Bowman broke a 2-2 tie with 3:46 remaining in the third period, capitalizing on an offensive zone faceoff win and a bit of a miscue in front of the Attack goal to put the puck upstairs.
Charlie Paquette and Max Namestnikov also scored for Guelph (17-12-1-1), which ended a four-game losing streak.
Cedrick Guindon and Nico Addy had the goals for the Attack (15-12-2). Addy’s goal was the first of his OHL career.
The loss dropped Owen Sound’s record on home ice to 5-9 this season.
Friday, the Attack are on the road to face the London Knights (17-11-0-1). You can catch the game live on 560 CFOS on Terry’s Trailer Service-Kia of Owen Sound Bear Radio.
Then Saturday, Owen Sound hosts Windsor (9-19-1) in its final game before the OHL Christmas break.
