Grey Bruce is in for some snow squalls today.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the region, saying lake effect squalls are expected throughout the day before weakening late this evening.
Snowfall amounts of 10-20 centimetres are forecast.
“Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common,” Environment Canada says in its warning. “Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.”
