Following the area’s first heavy snowfall, Huron County OPP are warning motorists to be prepared.
Environment Canada issued a snowsquall warning Tuesday, calling for up to 30 centimetres of buildup.
Huron OPP say motorists should be prepared when travelling in adverse conditions, and have necessary winter items including:
- Filling up your fuel tank (or charging your vehicle battery) to full
- Snowbrush
- Blanket
- Cell phone charger
- Snacks
- Warm clothing
- Windshield washer fluid
Police also remind you to clear your front windshield completely as well as your rear window, side windows and mirrors.
