A new report has been released, looking at the quality of life for residents of Huron and Perth counties.
The United Way Perth-Huron’s Social Research & Planning Council (SRPC) has released sections of a new “Quality of Life” report about well-being in the region.
The first three chapters released cover the demographics and make-up of Perth-Huron (Who We Are), diversity (A Diverse Community) and the economics of the region (Our Strong Economy).
The report found 28 per cent of Huron-Perth residents live in one-person households who may have been negatively effected by the isolation of the pandemic.
The SRPC also found women in Huron County earn $12 thousand less per year than man, in after-tax income.
