A multi jurisdictional police investigation has resulted in the arrest of a man, and a warrant for another man who is considered dangerous.
Hanover Police say during the evening of October 15th, three masked men entered a targeted home with a firearm and other weapons stealing items from the victims before taking off a white SUV that was driven by a fourth suspect.
After the robbery, one of the victims chased the suspects in a vehicle but came under fire. No one was injured.
Police investigators executed search warrants in Grey Highlands, Guelph and Waterloo with the help of local police services.
They have arrested a 34-year-old Waterloo man who faces over ten charges. They include, robbery using a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, disguise with intent, forcible confinement, participation in a criminal organization and fail to comply with a release order.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of a second suspect identified as a 42-year-old Waterloo man, Chuck Martin.
Police consider him armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.
They say he should not be approached in any circumstances. Police investigators are also warning those close to Martin not to aid him in any way as they could face criminal prosecution for doing so.
