South Bruce OPP are investigating a break and enter in Chesley.
Police say sometime between October 20th and the 23rd, a building in the 100 block of 4th Avenue Southeast was forcibly entered. Police didn’t say exactly which building.
They say no stolen property has been identified at this time, but about $2,500 dollars of significant damage was done to the building’s windows and doors.
OPP say damaging property is considered mischief under the Criminal Code of Canada. They say mischief carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail upon conviction.
