Special investigators are now involved in a case that prompted a “Hold and Secure” notification for schools in Clinton, as well as the town’s hospital.
According to reports, OPP interacted with two people Wednesday morning, resulting in one person being injured, and another outstanding.
OPP say they believe there is no imminent threat to the public.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which has invoked its mandate.
As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide any further information.
