Southern Georgian Bay OPP has one person in custody after a dispute in Midland.
At around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, officers were called to a dispute in the area of Bay Street and Second Avenue, where they saw a person carrying a firearm before leaving a vehicle.
A short time later, police went to a residential complex on William Street, where a man and woman had barricaded themselves.
After several hours, the woman left the residence and was taken into custody.
Later in the evening, the man was also taken into custody and was treated for minor injuries, which police say were from being placed under arrest with the help of K9.
The man is awaiting charges.
