
South Bruce OPP say a Kincardine resident is facing weapon charges after responding to a disturbance.
Police say on Oct. 7 at 5:15 p.m., OPP received a report of a disturbance at a business along Queen Street in Kincardine.
OPP say as a result, a 33-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.
Police say the accused was taken into custody without incident and is set to appear in court in Walkerton in November.
A section of Lambton Street in Kincardine was closed for a time on Saturday and has since re-opened to traffic
Members of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and the canine unit assisted South Bruce OPP in the investigation.
