Two women are now facing charges after Nottawasaga OPP carried out a search warrant in the Town of New Tecumseth.
Police started their investigation into the case last month after a number of tire thefts from a local shop.
On October 5th, police searched a home in Alliston, where officers seized $1000 worth of stolen tires, as well as 50g of cocaine.
A 34-year-old woman from New Tec is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.
A 41-year-old woman from Gravenhurst is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.
The two women are set to appear in court in November to answer to charges.
