Sauble Speedway has announced it has a new general manager.
A release says Brad Holmes brings with him, “experience in the automotive industry, management, and 20 years of
passion and dedication to this sport.”
The speedway says it looks forward to working with Holmes in helping the track become the premier place for short track racing in Ontario.
Holmes says in a statement, “I am extremely excited for the opportunity to work at Sauble Speedway and with Paul and Jeff. I
have spent the better part of 20 years preparing myself for this role, whether it’s driving, being a crew member, or simply being a fan.”
He adds, “My entire life has revolved around racing, and now I get the chance to help make a track, very important to me, the best it can be. I look forward to seeing all the familiar faces from years past, and having the opportunity to meet those I
haven’t. I know racing just ended for the 2023 season, but we are already looking to continue the improvements made into 2024. I will be making myself available as much as possible to, drivers, fans, staff, and anybody else within the racing community.”
Holmes concludes, “I pride myself on my approachability, welcoming any suggestions or positive criticism, in order to help myself improve as well as make Sauble Speedway the best it can be. Please continue to watch for an announcement about our competition meetings, it will be made soon.”
