Low-cost rabies clinics are returning to Simcoe County.
They’re being offered by local veterinarians who donate their time so dogs and cats can be vaccinated at an affordable price.
Costs are per animal and only cash will be accepted. No appointment is necessary to attend the walk-in rabies clinics, except at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in Collingwood.
When attending a clinic:
All pets must be at least three months of age.
Dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers.
Do not attend a clinic if you are ill.
Wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub immediately before and after visiting the clinic.
