Nottawasaga OPP has charged one person following an attempted abduction in New Tecumseth.
On Wednesday evening, police were called to Treetop Park, after two female youths were approached by an individual who tried to get them into a vehicle.
The girls declined and police were called immediately.
A 45-year-old man from New Tec has been charged with three counts of attempting to abduct a person under the age of 14, as well as mischief and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
