A 26-year-old from Barrie is facing charges after Collingwood OPP stopped them for going nearly twice the speed limit.
Just before 2 o’clock this morning, OPP stopped the driver, who was travelling at 170 km/h on Highway 26 near Fairgrounds Road.
They were charged with stunt driving, and driving while impaired.
They were also found to be under suspension, and it was the second time they’d been charged with driving offenses within the last 90 days.
