Person involved in robbery of an Exeter business July 30, 2023.
A 41 year old has been charged, in connection to an armed robbery in Exeter.
Police say a suspect entered a store July 30th on Main Street North, brandishing a gun and demanding cash.
After leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of money, reports say the suspect entered a vehicle parked just west of the store entrance.
OPP believe the suspect attempted to rob another store earlier the same evening, but was unsuccessful because the business had closed.
A Bluewater man has been charged with:
- Robbery Using Firearm – two counts
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – two counts
- Disguise with Intent – two counts
- Pointing a Firearm – one count
- Theft Under $5000 – one count
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking – one count
