Southern Georgian Bay OPP are looking for the public’s help as they investigate a homicide in Penetanguishene.
Yesterday afternoon at around 5 pm, police were called to gunshots in the rear parking lot of the Village Square Mall.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Jesse Daniel Deschamps.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled at the Ontario Centre for Forensic Science.
Police believe that this was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to public safety.
They’re looking for witnesses who saw the suspect vehicle, which was a black Ford F150 or saw the occupants of the vehicle at the time.
