Saugeen Shores police have charged a Bruce County man with dangerous driving after an incident involving a motorcycle.
Police say on Wednesday, July 19th at about 3:20 p.m. an officer on patrol police observed a dirt bike being driven on a highway in Southampton with no licence plate.
Police say a traffic stop was attempted, but say the dirt bike accelerated towards police then took off at a high speed.
They say soon after, the dirt bike and driver were located on 2nd Street.
Police have charged a 28-year-old Bruce County man with dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving while under suspension, failing to stop for police, and driving without a licence or plates.
The dirt bike was towed.
