Bruce County has given the green light to a new strategic plan.
During the meeting for their executive committee, a new plan was proposed that would build a strong and inclusive community, namely through addressing housing issues, putting an emphasis on community well-being, and positioning itself as a welcoming and inclusive place to live.
The plan addresses 2023-2026.
Other objectives were to promote responsible growth, to strengthen the county’s use of technology and innovative initiatives.
The strategic plan is a four-year initiative that would help Bruce County adapt to changing circumstances and to be more responsive to the evolving needs of the community.
After the new plan was presented to the committee, the county has now authorized staff to enact the recommendations for resolutions at their meeting on June 15th.
