One Kincardine Councillor was able to get support for a motion that was introduced during their June 12th meeting.
Councillor Mike Hinchberger brought the motion to establish public walkways between Birchwood Road and the Birchwood Trail.
With the motion, there would also be a revision to an existing project that would have installed stairs from the upper-level bluff to the mid-level bluff along the trail, and instead, connect the Birchwood trail in a more accessible way.
Hinchberger also called for a recorded vote on the matter, and all members of the council supported the change.
