Thousands of people are expected to converge on Midland Saturday for the annual butter tart festival.
It’s estimated 200 thousand butter tarts will be sold as the town closes down its main street to celebrate the sweet treat.
And bakers have unleashed their best recipes to compete for the title of best butter tart in four catagories.
To handle the crowds and traffic, offsite parking has been arranged along with free shuttle buses.
