The Nuclear Innovation Institute is welcoming a new supporter in Sargent & Lundy.
The 132-year-old American company is the first to join the NII in the “Supporter” category and will be able to bring its expertise in power generation and transmission to the institute.
Sargent & Lundy is based in Chicago and manages power and energy projects around the world.
They’ve also been involved in the Bruce, Grey, and Huron counties for over 20 years.
The NII says that Sargent & Lundy has a wealth of knowledge in electric grid infrastructure, as well as in nuclear power projects including design engineering.
