The Owen Sound Little Theatre is bringing back one-act plays to the Roxy.
Auditions for the plays will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd at the Knights of Columbus Hall on 6th Street East in Owen Sound.
The three plays will hit the stage on September 14, 15, and 16th.
There are three different plays, with three directors with different levels of experience.
The first director is Shielah Spurr, who will be directing Finger Food by Nina Shengold. Her current show, Gorgeous Gallivanting Goddesses will be hosted by the Roxy in mid-June.
For the second one-act play, Valerie Underwood will be leading Anton Chekhov’s A Marriage Proposal. Underwood was previously behind The Devil’s Disciple, Brigadoon, and Red Plaid Shirt.
Directing the third play, which is Joel Ensana’s Please, No Flowers, is Gerrard Morrison, who is a relative newcomer to the Owen Sound Little Theatre.
All three one-act shows are being produced by Mark Vigneux, who has been a member of the Owen Sound Little Theatre for thirty years.
Scripts for the three plays are available at the Roxy box office.
