The Owen Sound Attack are once again looking to our community for a Charity Game partner during the 2023-24 season. Coming off a highly successful season in which the Attack were able to raise and provide more than $142,000 for local charities, community groups, and programs, to go along with thousands of dollars worth of equipment, merchandise, and tickets, we are committed to once again strengthening relationships and supporting local all throughout 2023 and into 2024.
The Attack are searching for a charity partner to support for our 2nd charity game night of the year which will take place during an early March 2024 home game at the Bayshore. This past season we were able to host ‘Hockey for Hospice’, a memorable game night for anyone who attended on February 18th, raising $60,000 for Grey Bruce Hospice Inc. and recognizing the incredible work and effort from end of life care professionals who have impacted countless families both inside the Attack organization and close by.
“Supporting local people and families is exactly what the Attack organization aims to do when it partners with a charity group for our annual game nights.” said Evan Longland Attack Coordinator, Community Relations “Our primary focus is to use our platform to inform, help raise money, and to make an impact that can be directly felt by our fans and all residents of Owen Sound and Grey Bruce. We look forward to going through the process once again of selecting a Charity Game partner, and working with them to build a game night that makes a real difference.”
Applications for next year’s Charity Game can apply on our website by filling out the required information here. The deadline to apply is no later than Friday June 9th, 2023. The successful applicant will be notified prior to the start of the 2023-24 Attack regular season.
Interested parties can read more about the history of our Charity Games on the Attack website here.
Questions and inquiries about the application process, Charity Game, eligibility, and more can be directed to Evan Longland, Attack Coordinator of Community Relations at elongland@attackhockey.com.
